Yardworks 2018 – Saturday

Yardworks Glasgow is officially my favourite weekend of the year. To have so much greatness all in one space instead of spread out through the city is amazing. If you have missed out the past two years, then next year you really do need to get it in your diary. Great range again this year, ranging from the mindblowing Pichi and Avo to an array of local graffiti writers. Like last year, I met a load of amazing people, unlike last year, one of them was the legendary Martha Cooper! This batch of photos is from the Saturday, so there will be more to come from Sunday and I’m hoping to return at some point to get photos after everyone is finished, particularly in the Maze which is always crowded. I’m back!

Hi guys, have had a bit of break from blogging but have decided to publish the site again in the run up to this year’s Yardworks festival. Here’s a few photos from Paisley in the meantime.

Edinburgh June ’17

Hiya! Apologies for the absence of late, but as some of you will know I found me one of those job things and I am no longer a skint student. It’s nice to have an income, it’s a little less nice not to have much spare time for graff hunting.  But at least I will be able to get out the area more often, starting with Edinburgh last weekend. The New Street boards have been replaced, in what may or may not be an effort to make it trickier for people to paint on them, so there was nothing on them when I arrived, although happily that didn’t last long.

Anyway..enough waffle…look at the photos instead!

Yardworks The Maze

On Thursday I went back to the Yardworks site at SWG3 to get photos of what I missed on the weekend – mostly around the maze because it was so busy. These are all from inside the maze – I still have more to post, so I hope you aren’t all fed up seeing them!

Yardworks, Glasgow – Part 4

Still more pics from Yardworks! And still more to come… I’m also heading back to the Yard at SWG3 soon to get photos of the finished walls, a lot of people were still painting on Sunday when I left – so if you were painting there and haven’t seen your piece yet -it should be coming soon 🙂

Yardworks 3

This time, most of these were taken on Sunday, so there are more finished pieces. Some of the artists who finished on Saturday and earlier on Sunday did more than one piece – such as Voyder and Astek. Pictures featured this time include artists/writers such as Tizer ID, Astek, Cheo, Dave Bonzai, Sokem, Spore and Macism. Still loads more to come, so there will be another blog later in the week.

Yardworks Part 2

Have so many photos from Yardworks that I’m posting for the second time this week – and these are still only from Saturday, loads more to come from Sunday. Artists here include Akme, Beta, Dead One, Elph One, Voyder and Sokem.

Yardworks Glasgow

This is just the first batch of  photos taken over the weekend at Yardworks Festival at SWG3. These are from Saturday afternoon. I took around 300 over the weekend and whittling it down won’t be easy!  Artists here include Snub 23, Astek, Mak One, Cheo, Smug One, Tizer ID and Bonzai.  Loads more to come over the next few weeks.

If anyone is wondering why I don’t post them all at once, there are a few reasons, but mainly it’s because they would take a really really long time to upload, and people would get fed up going through so many.

Paisley May 2017

Pretty much on the ball this week, as some of these were only painted yesterday! This weekend sees Yardworks festival in Glasgow, and I’ll be there all weekend.
